Update: Cuban National in Florida Involved in the 1996 Killing of Americans Must Be Detained by the FBI
America is becoming a haven for human rights abusers from Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, and other nations
This is an update to my previous post regarding a Cuban national who, inexplicably, has been allowed to enter the United States multiple times. “The Total Failure of Accountability: A Cuban National Allegedly Involved in the Killing of Three Americans Paroled by Biden-Harris Officials into the U.S.,” can be accessed here.
This individual, Luis Raúl González-Pardo, was involved in a military operation that resulted in the assassination of three American citizens and one U.S. legal permanent resident. These civilians, members of the humanitarian group "Hermanos al Rescate" (Brothers to the Rescue), were flying humanitarian missions in civilian planes to assist refugees when they were shot down by Cuban MiG fighter jets over international waters in 1996.
Despite his role in this atrocity, González-Pardo has been granted entry to the U.S. on several occasions, including in 2017 and 2019. This raises serious questions about how he managed to avoid detection and why our immigration system failed to prevent his entry.
González-Pardo must be detained immediately, and the full force of U.S. law must be applied. U.S. officials should thoroughly investigate his role in this tragic event and ensure that justice is served. Those who sponsored him, particularly in his 2017 and 2019 applications, need to be interviewed to verify the truthfulness of their sponsorship.
